Dr. Davis provides thorough "general" or "contact lens" eye exams for children (starting at 5-years-old), and for adults. This vision exam includes testing for eye disorders like "glaucoma" & "cataracts"; determining an accurate prescription for eyeglasses and/or contact lenses; evaluating eye-muscle coordination (a potential source of "computer eyestrain"); and checking for "focusing difficulty" & "lazy eye". (Both are often found in school-age children, and are not detected by the standard "eye chart" tests!)

Dr. Davis offers a "Complimentary" (Free!) [3.] Treatment & Management Of Various Eye Disorders And Infections

Dr. Davis provides eye-related treatment and eye-health examinations for patients who experience glaucoma; cataracts; dry eyes (including "punctal plug implantation & removal" procedures); floaters; allergies; pink eye/red eye; eyelid "bumps & lumps"; burning & itchy eyes; painful eyes; eye-caused headaches; eyestrain; arthritis; diabetes; elevated eye or blood pressure; & thyroid conditions, among others.

Dr. Davis performs a comprehensive vision examination to determine an accurate contact lens prescription and fit; and to thoroughly evaluate your eye's "external" health (with & without any contact lenses on the eye) using his state-of-the-art "bio-microscope". Dr. Davis carefully & extensively evaluates your "internal" eye health, and prescribes the most appropriate type of contact lens, based upon your overall vision exam results.

Dr. Davis treats contact lens related conditions like "pink-eye/red eye"; eye allergies; dry eyes; scratches & abrasions of the eye; cornea infections & scars; neovascularization of the cornea; swelling of the eye; "gpc"; itching or burning; sensitivity to light; and eye discomfort or pain, among other problems.

If you have already undergone "Laser Vision Correction", and do not desire to wear reading glasses, you can try either "Mono-Vision" soft and gas permeable contacts, or it may be possible to modify one of your eyes with Laser "Re-Treatment" so that you may read with the re-treated eye.

PROTECT YOUR EYES WITH CONTACT LENS "ULTRA-VIOLET LIGHT BLOCKERS": For contact lens wearers who need a "distance" prescription only, there are several "disposable" contact lenses available that include "Ultra-Violet Light" protection. NEW "DRY EYE" & "ALLERGY" TREATMENTS: For contact lens wearers (and non-contact lens wearers) who experience dry, itchy, burning, or red eyes, Dr. Davis provides relief by using the latest prescription and/or non-prescription eye drops & oral medications. Dr. Davis also treats "dry eyes" by performing a painless procedure called "punctal plug implantation" --- This rather simple procedure has allowed hundreds of former contact lens wearers, who had to stop contact lens usage due to dry eyes, to successfully resume contact lens wear.
