Role Play - This so makes the top of my list. I role play with a passion. D&D, WW, Star Wars, I've done it all. Mostly, I keep to the free-form stuff, but structured is okay too. I think later I might get around to putting up some RP stats as well as the RP systems I've used for games that myself or close personal friends have designed. They're a lotta fun! I hope that some of you people actually steal them. One condition, if you steal my stuff, let me know, 'cause I'll probably want to play along with you guys too.
Anime - Anime anime anime! Pretty much everything I do now a days is related to either Anime or cartoons in some fashion. Geez, I'm a giant dork, but everyone has to be good at something, right? Dorkiness is my specialty.
Read - Manga and otherwise. <gasp> it's crazy I know, but I actually do like to read. If it's not manga I'm reading it's fanfiction or Sci-fi. Definately a fan of the scifi.
Draw - oh how I love it! I can't color for my life, but the drawing part's easy. Maybe I'll scan some of my stuff so you people can oooh and aah. Probably not, but I'm trying not to hurt my ego too much. Most of it's just sketch at the moment. I'll have to clean some up and make them all pretty for you to look at. You'd like that wouldn't you?
Write - I do this in my spare time too. Too bad I have the worst case of writer's block on the planet. If I didn't, this place would be crawling with FINISHED stories. Unfortunately, all the ideas swirling around in my head never seem to find a creative way to translate themselves onto paper, or, in this case, from my fingers into a neat .html format. Hopefully, I'll be finishing some of the stuff I've already started, and not start new projects. How can I say that! I've already started new stuff, phooey. Okay, after today, that's it! No more new ones until I finish all the other ones. I promise!
Now the school stuff:
JCL - This is soo much fun. I just went last weekend to state convention and I'm going to Nationals in the summer at Tulane University. ::clap:: Stow's won in Ohio for the 23rd straight year in a row. Yaay! If any of you people are still in high school, ask someone about JCL. The whole thing is basically a party in the state capital for a weekend in a hotel. Sure you have to do some art projects and maybe take a test related to the classics, but it's well worth it. There are dances, and open mike nite, and contests, and screaming teenagers, and more! If anyone's from Ohio, e-mail me. I'll tell you all about it.
Latin Club - We do a lot of fun events related to Latin, and a lot of fun events that aren't. These are people that I can just kick it with and not really worry about anything else.
Softball - A great American past time. I've been playing softball since I was three years old. I guess I could walk then, I don't really remember. I have jerseys with funny names on them and everything! My favorite would have to be Tsunami. Who thinks up a name like Tsunami? Needless to say they were blue. REALLY blue. For those of you who care, I've played every position known to man. Most of the time I'm either 1st or 3rd baseman (base*wo*man if you prefer). I pitch too, but I absolutely hate it. Takes too much practice, and I don't like doing that.
I'd have to say that my favorite seriesare Shoujo Kakumei Utena, Tenkuu no Escaflowne, Fushigi Yuugi, Inuyasha, and Ranma 1/2. If you haven't seen/read these, I highly recommend it. Movies are a whole nother story. You can ask me about it, if you really really wanna know. Sure all the Toonami stuff is okay, but you haven't watched Anime until you've seen the uncut subtitled version. Soooo much better than this dubbed cut stuff that they show to all the sheltered American children. But I guess that's better than not having any exposure to Anime at all... maybe, since they butcher stuff sooo badly. Poor poor Card Captor Sakura, I weep everyone who's seen that piece of trash Card Captors that Nelvana decided to show. <sigh> I'm not bitter, and I know if people actually take the time to read this, they're going to flame me. Please do, I'd love to "chat" with you about it.
Band - Oy! I play clarinet/bass clarinet. It's kinda fun I guess even if people think I'm a giant dork. If you haven't figured it out by now, yes I am a nerd. At least I admit it. Anywho. I've made a lot of really great friends by being in band, people I probably wouldn't have known otherwise.
