The first person I spoke with at Amanda's was
Daisy.
She was and is
a very special person. We don't talk as often as I'd like but she has always
been very thoughtful and considerate. I trust her word and am glad we became
friends.
Sometimes we meet people with whom there is instant recognition that we are
to know each other for a reason. That is the case with Keya. She
uses uncountable other names as well (rather like Cybil, Keya....*G*), but
this is primarily how I know her. We know we met for a reason, and keep
running across one another for the same reason. I have great admiration for
Keya's creativity and independence. I believe we will know one another for
a long time.
Another person I believe will be a friend for a long, long time is
Princess.
She is a healer of spirits. She is also quite talented in the areas of fine
and graphic art. Her abilities seem to come from her deep faith. Our
strengths seem complimentary and I believe we would work very well together
to help heal bodies and spirits.
The problem with having friends on the other side of the globe is that you
have trouble matching schedules with them. I thoroughly enjoy the infrequent
conversations I have with Maddy but as she is in Melbourne, Victoria,
Australia and I'm in Cleveland, Ohio, USA, I don't get the opportunity to talk
with her as much as I'd like. Women's Circus, Maddy? Still haven't been
able to find anything on the net.
Aquamarine
is one of my favorite people of all time. She can cheer
me up but can also deflate me when I need it. But does everything with a
Celtic sense of the absurd and an appreciation of the humor therein. Aqua,
Thanks for being there. You are a rare gem.... *S*
Its interesting to me that I seem to know more people from Australia than
from Europe. But a person I met from Germany is very much a favorite to talk
with.
Vicky
is very well read, well traveled, and extremely interesting. I'm
glad she has ICQ so we can keep up with the latest. Thanks, Vicky!
Bev & Dave
were born and raised almost within sight of each other in Suffolk, England. But
they never met. They both emigrated to Australia, met, fell in love, and
married! I love that story, guys... I hope you don't mind me mentioning it
here....*smile*
I have found other very good friends on the internet as well. Some of these
are Angel$, Jen, donut, Willow, Queenbee, Susan37, Eibhlin,
bpf, Hal, Hazeleyes, Jan, Ian, LN, Splash, holli, Tarrah, Fancy, Wendy and
Heaven Scent. These are some wonderful people I would never have met if
it weren't for the net. I will have more to say about my friends as well.
I hope to have some more photos of some of my friends and family in the near future on this and other linked pages and will be adding other graphics to these pages as I can.
