DAVID COBURN IS DONNIE WAHLBERG'S VOICE

David Coburn is an American actor whom you might have seen in the cinema already once or twice. He played in 'Uncle Buck', 'The Jazz-Singer' and together with Michelle Pfeiffer in 'The Fabulous Baker Boys'. At the moment he shines in the succesful movie by Oliver Stone, 'The Doors'. In the States however David's voice is probably more famous than he is himself. What's the deal? Well, he is the voice behind the cartoon Donnie Wahlberg in the animated 'New Kids on the Block- series', that are being broadcasted every Saturday morning on the American television.

Because Donnie himself just doesn't have the time to do his voice in the cartoons, the producers asked some actors to do this job. David made the cut because his voice related most to Donnie's. Other then the New Kids on the Block-series, David cooperated on tv-series such as 'Growing Pains' and 'Who's the Boss?', but as a real actor who shows on tv. Soon, David will be one of the leads in the tv-adaptation of the movie 'Harry and the Hendersons', a movie that got known here under the name of 'Bigfoot'. Besides acting David has already done a lot. He studied Modern Art at the University of Los Angeles: he finished his study this year cum laude. Other than that, he already had music-lessons for 17 years and he is an all-round piano-player. "I play piano to keep my common sense, but my heart goes out to acting", he says.
