In the latest and certainly most serious of his rapscallion antics, Donald "Edmond" Wahlberg was arrested in connection with a hotel fire in Louisville, Kentucky. An eyewitness reported seeing Donnie pour something on a carpet and set it alight.
The New Kids' spokesperson is dubious about this claim however. "There was a fire," he agrees, "but the police are looking into whether he was putting flammable liquid on the fire or actually putting it out."
"The maximum penalty for the offense is 20 years and he's been released on 30,000 pounds bail. The whole thing's really been blown out of proportion by the newspapers. I expect that if he is found guilty he'll do a fine or some community service. Either way, no shows will be affected."
