Of the five New Kids on the Block, Donnie Wahlberg has become the one with the most remarkable statements. He has also had some very daring statements about himself. We have collected 20 of these autobiographic statements…..
1) “I always think the best of people: I never believe that they are
rude, stupid or trouble as they can be in real-life. So I'm being
disappointed regularly.”
2) “If I need my privacy, I lock myself in my bathroom and sit in my
bathtub for a couple of hours.”
3) “I think I'm intelligent, although people wouldn't say that of me. My
radiation ain't the one of intelligence, but when people get to know me,
they often think of me as an intelligent kid.”
4) “I like to read what is written about me. But I never let the press
get to me. I let people believe what they want.”
5) “Sometimes I love life, sometimes I don't. But usually I do. Life is
okay.”
6) “I think I can get along better with others than I can with myself.”
7) “I like to buy people things and to share everything with others.”
8) “If I become a father, I'll be just like my own father. Only I'll
have some more money.”
9) “It may sound weird, but I'm not attractive for English women.”
10) “I may have a big house but I have to get up every morning and walk
through life like everybody else.”
11) “I don't have a wife, I don't have a girlfriend, I'm not in love;
actually, I'm pretty lonely.”
12) “I can't fix cars, but I'm a good driver. I can't fix bikes, but I'm
good at riding bikes. I can change a fuse. Every now and then I'm pretty
handy.”
13) “I'm not the boss of the New Kids. There are five bosses and I'm one
of them. There are times that I take control, there are times that
others do it.”
14) “I don't care that girls like me for money, and I don't care that
girls like me because I'm famous. As long as they like me.”
15) “I have always had trouble deciding what to wear. Now that I'm a
millionaire, I still don't know what to wear.”
16) “I don't understand all the fuss around popstars: they aren't born
like popstars. They're just normal people, just like I'm a normal guy. I
can and will never forget where I come from, with empty pockets.”
17) “I actually work two hours a day, on stage. During the day I'm busy
doing interviews and meeting fans, but that isn't a job. That's fun."
18) “Sometimes I cannot handle the pressure of being famous, but then I
talk to Dick (Scott, manager) or Jordan or I call my mother and then
everything is fine.”
19) “I'm not afraid of ending in the gutter. There will come a day that
no-one will know me anymore, but then I won't be in the gutter. Donnie
Wahlberg will still be there. I will still be a person. I'm not just a
New Kid.”
20) “If we're not on tour, I constantly have the feeling that my career
is slipping through my fingers. I can never rest on my laurel. I can't
say: okay, you've succeeded, you have success, relax and enjoy it. Even
during vacation, I want to be working.”
The other New Kids about Donnie:
Jordan: “a lot of people say that Donnie's crazy. That is no doubt
because he is crazy.”
Danny: “he has a girl's butt.”
Joey: “Donnie is the biggest sloven of us five. We always try to get him
to be somewhat more proper.”
Jonathan: “Donnie is always the one to motivate a group of people. He's
full of energy.”
