Well, what a wicked week it's been. Jon Knight from the world's most happenin' band has been to Disney World and we were there too. Don't forget to catch all the action on Going Live! this Saturday morning.
If you could do anything in the whole wide world bar nothing what would it be? Well, when one Jon Knight from New Kids On The Block got quizzed on this very same question by the one and only Going Live! His answer was: "Go to Walt Disney World." So before you could say Phillip Schofield, GL! had done the decent thing and whisked him there. You can see the whole scam on Going Live! This very Saturday. But because we knew you couldn't wait that long, we got a sneak preview.
WERE YOU LOOKING FORWARD TO THE DAY?
I have always wanted to visit Walt Disney World so I couldn't believe it
when Going Live! said they'd actually take me there for the whole day. I
couldn't wait.
WHAT WAS THE HIGHLIGHT?
Startours definitely. It's based on a scene in the film Star Wars and you
are basically in a space shop cockpit with billions of asteroids zooming
past -- it was pretty hairy. And I even got to say hello to the robots R2D2
and C3PO.
WHAT ELSE DID YOU DO?
Well, I had my handprint done in their replica of that famous cinema in
Hollywood where all the REALLY BIG movie stars make their handprints. And I
met all the Disney stars - Minnie Mouse even got the giggles when she kissed
me.
WHAT WILL YOU TELL THE OTHERS ABOUT THE TRIP?
There was this restaurant and disco called Pleasure Island which would make
a perfect setting for a video so watch out for that in the future. My mom
came with me and she really loved it here too. I even had the chance to
have a bit of a dance.
WHY DIDN'T JORDAN GO TOO?
He's just really tired. We had a gig the night before and had to shoot off
that afternoon for another gig and he just wanted to catch up with his
sleep. I bet he will be jealous now though. He'd have loved to have gone.
