Cyclon Monobloc Batteries

These are some Hawker Cyclon Batteries. They are an AGM type Lead-Acid battery. They are constructed with two Lead plates seperated by a fiberglass mat, and then rolled in a spiral. After they are assembled a precise amount of Acid is injected into the fiberglass.
These batteries use the 4V monoblocs (each monobloc contains two cells). As you can see there are six cells here, the plastic cases of three 4v monoblocs have been welded together.
Their performance is very impressive. They are rated at 8Ah at the 5 hour rate (C5), they can produce 6.2 Amps for 1 hour or 4.4 Amps for 1.5 hours.
With the 3-3.5 Amps I hope to get from the generator, I should be able to run the Main motor at full current for 1 hour. If I add a solar array capable of producing 2 Amps, I should be able to run for 1.5 hours or more.
