The Dubé Racing Team
Here you see the Killacycle, Bill Dubé and the Hogan family. (Bill's the one with the soda and a beard) and Kerry Hogan is the pretty one in the spiffy new leathers. Sorry but I don't know the names of her brother and father.
This is a front on view of the Killacycle. Kerry and her brother in the background.
Back end of the Killacycle showing it's huge rear sprocket. As I recall this is the new sprocket Bill had custom made out of aluminum.
I love this license plate!
John Wayland and the White Zombie, the only door slammer to make it to the races this time.
As he was driving over to the staging area he passed a couple guys and one looks up and says to his friend; "Hey! Is that one of those electric cars?" His friend looks over and replies; "Well it says 'Suck Amps' so I'd guess so!".
The White Zombie's "engine" compartment showing the nice clean layout of the "Godzilla" controller and the little bitty Kostov (That's a joke son, a joke, get it?)
The infamous "Dump Pack" of Optima YTs in the bed of the nicely detailed ;-) pickup used to tow the Zombie down from Oregon.
The Dump Pack was used to recharge the White Zombie in about 8 minutes. It was also used to rapid charge a few other EVs.
In the top right corner you can see one of the elusive "Baby Optimas", it sure would be nice if Optima would produce some of these for us mortals.
Don Crabtree AKA Father Time on his bike Dragon Rose(?). I thought I had a better photo of the bike but my cheap digital camera had some problems (heat?) and about half my photos were hopelessly garbled.
The best T-shirt at the track!
Father Time holding one of the almost mythical JCI batteries.
A very unusual looking bike with a feet forward riding position. You can see the front foot pegs up near the front axle.
Here is the bike in motion
The Kawashocki III(?). I think this was the best looking bike there. It's a very fast bike and I can't wait to see how it performs if they can get the tranny to work in both speeds.
I'm not a big fan of the pusher trailer idea because I feel there is potential safety issue. However, this is a VERY nice implementation of the idea.
Acceleration was impressive and from what I understand top speed is something like 45 mph!
The large sprocket mounted on the wheel seen here was setup to free wheel when the motor is off. Nice touch.
