The name game: They were searching for a name but couldn't come up with anything good. Then they saw an STP racing sticker on a trash can. Then they tried using that. First they came up with Stone Temple Pirates, but Scott didn't like the Pirates part. Then they decided on Pilots.
Scott has had a few drug problems in the past. That is what led to the break up of STP. The other three got fed up, and started a new band, Talk Show, or something like that, I don't know. He's been out of rehab for a little while, and is doing his own thing. Check this out to find out more about what's coming up.
