Day At The Waterfall

By: ANicePoet

The raven haired Goddess stands at the base of a hundred-foot waterfall

The mist from the cascading liquids permeates the air with a billowing call

The force of the pounding water is enough to move mountains, and men

Mother Nature's power is swift and deliberate, she's made miracles again

The scarlet-topped beauty breathes in the humidified air and gently sighs

All of a sudden the clouds shift and thunder claps up in the majestic skies

Goose bumps appear upon her alabaster skin and the rain begins to pour

The swimming hole swirls and shifts with fury as its banks flood the shore

As quickly as it began the rain subsides and the sun starts to shine anew

A beautiful rainbow comes right over the falls, an amazing color and hue

An almost perfect day, it would be flawless but there is something missing

Her best guy isn't there to hold her and give her some soft, sweet kissing
