She has always been near me even though I was afar
And when I came to know her
I felt we were never quite apart
She came to me silently with a longing in her soul
My touch would bring her comfort
Her kindness I longed to hold
I tried to show my strength within to be a man of stone
But when she looked inside me she knew I was alone
Her gentle touch of compassion
Her face as it shined in the night
She held a candle of my spirit
She kept my heart alight
The times we share together
Takes me to a brighter place it seems
And even in my darkest nights
You always light my dreams
I will always thank you for the joy
The harmony in my soul you did start
For I find you as my one true love
