Lover

By: Hanh Chau

Teardrops falling from my eyes,
Can’t be counted since your departure,
Like dewdrops causing to fall from it’s leaves
What have I done so wrong that your cruel hands break my heart into two?
You once told me that I was like rosebud that grows inside your heart
But now a sight of dying flowers. Just a smell of decay
A sign of love vows and commitment that once was made like the loyalty of devotion,
The closeness of bond and the warmth of caring have faded away
Your love is what my heart is acing for
Above precious jewel is priceless
Above is the blue sky I lie. Below is the majestic mountain you stand
The sun you are with the golden finger reaching through my hair in the dancing breeze
The moon you are casting it’s shadow through the dark as I in the night
Nothing can be compared with my love for you
As precious as you are to me, you are my life, my soul, and my heart
