Snow is falling, the fields are white
There's not a blade of grass in sight
The sun shines through a broken sky
A golden beam from way up high
The glittering frost lies all around
Like sparkling jewels each winter found
The earth becomes hard, crips, and dry
As the flowers seem to fade and die
The streams are frozen with solid ice
Even the trees pay winter's price
Bunnies and mice burrow beneath the ground
Waiting for spring in sleep they're bound
Smoking chimneys seem to tell a tale
Even the birds have set their sail
Upon each window Jack has drawn
A distincitive pattern, no window the same
But alas, winter is cold and hard
Symbolic of life, be on your guard
The beauty of winter can be easily found
Like everything in life, you just look around
