the death of innocence

At a place where the warm summer's zephyrs ruffle through the thick bunches of leaves high up in the trees, where the sunshine shines down all day long, and where feet forever walk upon the fresh, sweet-smelling grass, a lone figure stands. The beautiful creature is wearing an intricate, flowing pure white dress with golden seams. Her gorgeous golden hair that cascades down her back sways ever so gently in the wind. A white flower, perhaps a daisy, is tucked into her hair above her ear. Deep azure eyes gaze across the rich peaceful valley. A faint smile plays across her virgin lips.
Three feet away to the right of her solemnly stands a pure white horse with a golden horn in the middle of its forehead, a unicorn. Its white mane and tail sway slightly in the breeze also. Behind them, tiny faeries and other mystical things dance about, unnoticed by most.
Perfect tranquility. The heavenly girl sighs. Then, noticing some movement out of the corner of her eye, she slowly looks to the left...

GASP

STAB

SCREAM

BLEED

FALL

CHAOS

Then quiet again.

At a place where the warm summer's zephyrs ruffle through the thick bunches of leaves high up in the trees, where the sunshine shines down all day long, and where feet forever walk upon the fresh, sweet-smelling grass, two shadowed figures lay in their own puddles of blood. A girl, dressed in a pure white dress stained with the red red blood, and a once white, now crimson unicorn.

All innocence is tainted. All innocence is lost. All innocence is dead.
