He displays the following from OoT2D; the area in Kokiri Forest where you find the Kokiri sword (including the animation of the rolling boulder,) rotating animations of the small & boss key, opening/closing animations of the various chests, the HUDs for both the N64 and Gamecube setup, his various custom alphabets and numbers used in OoT2D, and also the shop in Kokiri Forest where you buy the Deku shield. Along with some of the graphics, he details how he codes the animation of the sprites in GameMaker. |

In response to the news of the death of Dampe (Richard Denton), TRM had this to say: "My name is Daniel Barras, I am not Dampe, I'm TheRealMethuselah... Dampe was a good online-friend who wanted to make his own OoT2D and would often email me with suggestions and questions on coding and graphics, he will be greatly missed and I hope he's with our Lord now in Heaven."
To clearify, The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time 2D [OoT2D] is originally being developed by TheRealMethuselah [TRM] (Daniel Barras). Dampe was creating an OoT2D clone using some of TRM's sprites. |
