My Favorite Songs!
This page is made especially for my buddy Will who has been there for me through thick and thin. O.K. I've been turned onto Oasis since the first day that I heard the midi file that's playing right now. (It is playing right? There not that bad. I admit it ok.) At first I was like... " Yeah! Me listen to Oasis eh? Who do you think I am Will?" But I figured may as well I mean if I listen to one song if I do that what can I lose? So I went to an Oasis web- page and this is what I got. I mean at first I was like... Ok this song is really weird! But after a while I got use to it and I started playing the file over and over and over and the next day I went to buy the cd. (Interesting story eh?) Ok... Now to the stuff you really wanna know! Why do I actually like this group? Well for one thing they don't pretend that they are the best and that they sing the best songs out there. For example... In "It's Gettin' Better (Man!!)" The group sings... "Maybe the songs that we sing are wrong, Maybe the dreams that we dream are gone..." I mean it's gotta take a lot of guts to actually say publicly that they may be singing the wrong things. They also tell you to spread news around to people in "All Around The World." I mean song means a lot of things to different people but, to me what the song is saying is that you should go tell the world about Christ. I don't know what do you think... I mean they sing clearly.... "All around the world, you've got to spread the word. Tell them what you head. We're gonna make a better day....Tell them what you head. You know it's gonna be O.K." I mean what do you think I think it's very clear that they want people to go out into the world and tell them about what they believe in. This group also has songs I don't agree with though. I mean they swear in "The Girl In The Dirty Shirt" and, "Be Here Now" but other than that the whole album is more or less clean. Oh by the way I'm referring to the album "Be Here Now." Ok fine so the singers in the group aren't that great looking and you can't really understand what they're saying because of their thick English Accents but, that makes the group even better. I mean in Champagne Supernova It took me and my friends a long time to figure out what they were saying and, we still sing the words wrong but that just makes the song even better because... I don't know how to explain it. It just makes it better, trust me. (Right Jason? 8) Remember that time we were in your car and kept singing that song wrong? BTW thanks for telling me the right words even though I don't remember what they are anymore :0) I wonder if Jennie is still singing that song wrong still? ) Any how... I guess my favorite song is "Stand By Me." Cause it reminds me so much of the way things are in this life. Any ways.... I'll get to the point of this web page. OASIS IS COOL.
