The Angel Who Loves You

Epilouge

Happily Ever After

Isaac glanced at Andrea. She was pregnant with their fourth child. Well, actually it was the third between Isaac and Andrea, but they both considered Angel their daughter too. Neither of them hid the fact that Angel had been Taylor's child. It was hard to ignore it anyway. Angel was the exact imagine of Taylor, excpet female. The same eyes, hair, mouth. If it hadn't been for the fact that she couldn't sing a note if her life depended on it, she could have been Taylor reborn. Andrea still cried over Taylor. Isaac knew she would never stop. He also knew that she loved him more than anything. Taylor had just been a part of her for so long that whenever she was reminded that he had been stolen from her, right in front of her face, the wound within in her was re-opened. Isaac understood that, and Andrea loved him for it.

"Mommy, what's for dinner?" 10 year old Angel walked into the room.

"Daddy's cooking."

Angel made a face. "I just want peanut butter and jelly."

Andrea laughed. "It's not that bad."

Angel shrugged, she didn't want to hurt her father's feelings. "But I'm not very hungry so I'll just have a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich."

Isaac saw through the act and came over. "Fine. Hurt my feelings, I don't mind. If you really don't like my cooking then you could at least tell me the truth." He made a face and sighed, trying to send Angel on a guilt trip.

She just laughed. "Daddy, you're so silly."

He grabbed her and engaged her in a tickle battle, a war which he always won.

She screamed with laughter and ran out of the room. Andrea smiled from her place on the couch.

"You're so good with them all."

"Yeah, well, you know me. I'm just good at everything I do."

She rolled her eyes and playfully punched him.

"Hey, let's not get abusive here." He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her once. "You're so big this time." He placed his hand on her stomach. Not even three months pregnant and she looked like she was about 7 months in.

"Don't remind me."

"MOMMY!!!" Angel and Erika, the next oldest child, ran into the room carrying a photo album. "Tell us about our other Daddy." Erika said.

It was difficult to explain to the younger children. They couldn't tell Angel that she had had a different father than her other siblings without explaining it to the other kids so Isaac and Andrea simply said that it was like they had two fathers. That Isaac looked out for them at home, but that Taylor looked out for them in Heaven. They accepted this everytime they told the story was told. Maybe when they got older it would be explained more accurately.

Andrea told Erika and Angel about Taylor. How he had sung with his brothers, how he had take Andrea to London, the whole deal. Isaac added funny stories of embarrassing things Taylor had done as a little kid.

And Taylor watched from the heavens, as his brother/best friend led the perfect life with the woman of their dreams. "I'll never let you go, and I'll always be your angel." He said that every time she went to bed. And she heard him, then she turned to Isaac and fell asleep. It was a bizarre love triangle, but it was a beautiful one.
