Lucinda first married a Civil War Federal Soldier, John A. Connell, whom she had children by and left with a Robert Hamilton as guardian. He lived in Marion, IL.

She then married John Hale. She said that he left her and she did not hear from him for seven years, and then he had died. They had one child, James Hale.

She then married Isaac Milton McEnelly, a Civil War Federal soldier, in 1878.

After his death, she married a Confederate Soldier, Henry Malone.
