The Declaration of Independence

In CONGRESS, July 4, 1776,

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united STATES of AMERICA,

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed. That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn, that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable, than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security....



This Declaration says:

We need to separate from England and become our own nation. For others to understand better, we should tell why we want to separate.

We do not think these rights should be taken away: the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

When a government takes away these rights, we should change or destroy it, and organize a new government that will protect these rights.

Of course, governments that work well should not be changed for small problems, but if injustice becomes unbearable, it is our privilage, and responsibility, to change the government.

In early America, this document represented this decision of the people to ... declare independence and form a new government.

As a christian, this document gives me authority to change the government when it takes away our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

The right to life has been violated by euthanasia and abortion. The right to liberty has been abused because we can not now freely talk to others about Christ, or talk against abortion on front of abortion clinics without fear of being arrested.

Conditions are getting worse. It is time to fight for others freedoms. Soon we may be fighting for our own liberty, happiness, or even life.

You came to my life to give me some fun.
At first you were there for free time and play.
Before I knew it, you stole my whole day.

N'Intend - Oh

I didn't intend to buy many tapes.
I didn't intend to play but once a week.
I didN' intend to play more than two hours.
I didN' intend to play games with ghouls and sorcerers.
I did Nintend to neglect my chores.
I did Nintend to irritate my family.
I did Nintend to ignore my dog.
I did Nintendo become a couch potato.
I did Nintendo become OBSESSED.
"I didn't intend to" became "I did Nintendo"
