December, 1998 Cheviot, Ohio (Issued monthly) Issue 494

FROM THE PRESIDENT: First of I would like to thank all of the members who came out and not only attended but worked the Turkey Festival with me. A fine job was done by all. Thanks also go out to the members who brought friends and relatives with them to help make the festival the success it was. It seemed like everybody enjoyed themselves and had a good time. COME ONE - COME ALL. Step forward and throw your hat in the political ring. It's only December but it's time to consider the election that is coming up. All the offices are open. We will need three members to serve on the Board of Governors to replace the three that are going off the Board. Our President Jerry is stepping down. Also stepping down is the Editor, who has had the job for almost ten years, Ken Casey. Ken will assist the new editor until he gets "the hang of things". I also want to remind all members that we badly need people to run for all the Officer and board positions. In closing, I wish all of you the best of the holidays and a Happy New Year. Our next regular meeting is on the 21st. See you then - - -Jerry

ELECTIONS Chrpsn ?

It is that time of year again. The time of year where we canvass the members for people interested in running for office. We hate to sound like a broken record but we need members to run for an office. This election we will be needing a new President and, of a less important office, an Editor. As was stated in the President's message we also will be needing three (3) people to serve on the Board of Governors. Give this election some thought and b ready to volunteer.
