December 1999 Cheviot, Ohio (Issued Monthly) Issue 506
From the President Jerry Biederman
I hope everyone has enjoyed the Holiday Season. I would like to add my best wishes to those of the officers and board members of our club for the new year. Let's hope for a year of peace, health and happiness.
Our regular meeting on January 17th will feature nominations for the election of new officers and governors. Don't stay home because of that. Please give serious thought to filling a spot on the ballot.
In addition, we will have important details on some issues with the club's building and a few other items that may affect our future as an organization. Your input and participation are critical.
Our Children's Christmas Party was a success! We had about forty children attendance along with parents and grandparents. Thanks to Bill Rehn, Ken Casey and Norb Briede for their assistance cleaning and reorganizing the hall and helping out during the party. Thanks also to George Burhoff for filling the special role he does so well. Lastly, thanks to my wife, Marcia. I couldn't do this without her help.
Thanks for a great year in 1999. Let's keep it going in 2000. See you on January 17, 2000!
