Scrunchies!!
Pacific's Scrunchie
Materials:Small amounts white and periwinkle size 10 crochet cotton.
Size 7 steel crochet hook.
Elastic hairband.
Stitch note: picot: ch 5, sl st in 4th ch from hook, ch 2
Rnd 1: Work 90 sc around elastic hairband. Join with a sl st to the first sc.
Rnd 2: Ch 3 (first dc),(ch 2, dc in next sc)44 times. Fasten off.
Rnd 3: Join white with sc in first dc, (picot, sc in next dc) 44 times.fasten off.
Rnd 2 and 3 can be repeated all the way around for a much fuller scrunchie.
Sydney's Scrunchie
Materials:Maize (color #123)Knit-Cro-Sheen
size 7 steel hook
Sc around the hairband, making it as full as you like.
Join with sl st to 1st sc.
Row 1: Ch 1 and sc in same stitch, ch 3 and sc in next stitch around. Join with sl st to 1st sc.
Row 2: Sl st in ch 3 space, ch 1 and sc in same stitch ch 5 and sc in next ch 3 space around. Fasten off.
Beads can be added to each loop. If beads are used thread them on before starting the project!
Ornament Exchange Patterns
I located the source for the pattern for the birds I sent some of my exchange friends.

I made some alterations to the pattern as I went which unfortunately I didn't write down, also the pattern calls for thread, I used sport weight yarn and an E or F hook.
