Here the wind is colder than snow,

Hell I would guess that it's fifty below!

No signs of warmth for miles around,

As cold as it is, no snow on the ground...

This place is deserted, few memories here,

Some people stay, some banned to come near!

One person guards this barren place,

Disgust in her eyes, hate on her face!

No signs of laughter, smiles aren't known,

A temper that rages, all that is owned.

Colder than ice, darkness prevails,

Emptiness lingers, love tried but failed!

It stands protected, no one allowed in,

After years full of love, the hurt now begins...

This place that I speak of, a place that I've known,

A heart colder than ice...harder than stone!
