Although I have never met you,

Nor have you met me...

I want to thank you dearly

For making my life happy!

You may not know exactly why,

And you may not even care,

But because of you, and only you...

I have my husband here!

You were the love in his past,

The one he longed to hold,

But when you left hin and his heart,

His love for you did not uphold!

He was hurt by your departure,

So upset, of that I'm sure-

But after you, he found me...

A love so strong and pure!

I'm a part of him, a friend to him,

A love he ached to know...

I was the one who claimed his heart

The one who made him whole!

I have never known a love so strong,

A love so splendid and defined...

A man in which returns the love,

Oh, how could you have been so blind?

Oh, Sarah, I am not condemning you-

I am thanking you from deep within...

For what you've overlooked in him,

Has become your loss and now my win!

For if you had taken time to see

The man I know...somehow,

I am sure you would have held on to him,

And he'd still be with you now!

So from one woman to another,

Life is hard enough to live...

But because of you letting go,

I have so much love for him to give!

So I thank you once again, Sarah-

I appreciate so much what you've let go,

I hope in time that you'll find a love,

Like the one I've come to know!
