~*~ My Critters ~*~
Meet the critters on our farm...
Soon they'll be lots more pics of my critters on our E-I-E-I-O
Here's this summer's bucket-o-chicks:o)
A very special preschool class hatched them, and gave them to my daddy so that they could have a good home! They're full sized white chickens now, but weren't they neat looking back then?
This is just one of our many goats! Honestly we're up to about 30 of them now--at least! This is "Pepper," we've had her for a long time. And each year she always has cute kids--sometimes twins. We've got some unusual goats in our pasture, no two look alike and that's a good thing! All the animals we own have a name, and most of the time will learn the sound of their name and resond :) One special goat in our pasture is a fainting goat!! It's really cool, and I know of one certain guy who loves to chase it...just to see it fall over.
This is our barnyard turkey, and no she's not going to be Thanksgiving dinner! She doesn't have a name though...which is extremely rare at our house! She hatched out an entire nest of guineas this year:o) She's really friendly too.
Here's two of our miniature horses. "Honey" and her second colt at our farm, "Bunny" live out in our pasture with Honey's first colt, "Baby," and "Trigger" who is also Bunny's dad. They run and play all the time!!
Here's a pic of me and "Baby." Isn't she adorable!? She actually very sweet, can't wait til she's old enough to have a colt of her own:o) She's being weaned from her mother, and so she's over in the pasture at my grandparents house next door. She's got a little friend over there too, he's teaching her a few things!
