A native of Wooster, Ohio, Jill graduated from Ohio State University at Columbus, Ohio, with a B.S. in Aviation Engineering and a minor in Atmospheric Sciences. She first appeared on-air at The Weather Channel in February 1992. Jill joined The Weather Channel in 1986, working as a graphics specialist, forecaster, and radio broadcaster. She then went to WFSB-TV in Hartford, Connecticut, spending two years as a morning weather anchor and environmental reporter, before returning in an on camera position at The Weather Channel. When not on the air, Jill stays active skiing, and playing golf and tennis.
