You’ve probably heard the William and Emma rumor. My guess is that’s their relationship is not as intense as reported. If you watch any respectable news channels like CNN, BBC or CBC, you’ll not hear about this because the rumors are unconfirmed and probably untrue.
It disappoints me that the media has broken the unwritten rule that they will leave William alone until he turns 18. All they care about is making money. And if William does have any feelings at all for Emma, I don’t think he would actually date her. He’s 17 almost and I doubt he’s that stupid. You’d think he understands that dating anyone would generate a great deal of gossip. The last thing the royal family needs is a scandal. I think William is old enough to understand that any scandal could easily endanger the monarchy.
I think their relationship, if there is one at all, would be best described as friends. It’s probably refreshing to be in the presence of an older and more mature woman, instead of adoring teeny boppers. I doubt Emma would ever go “OH, William, you’re soooooo cute!” Since she’s older, Emma probably is a good mentor who can helps him with his troubles and not be influenced by her lust for him. She’s mature and understand the age difference, no respectable woman would go out with an under aged boy 8 years her junior. Especially a high profile Prince.
So what if Royal men has a history of lusting after older women? You know Charles is younger than Camellia. And all the blondes William has crushed on ( Emma, Chistie, Cindy etc. . .) are older than him, but so what, all guys have crush on models. I’d say, if William does have a relationship with an older woman like Emma, all his school chumps would be saying things like, “ Way to go!”, “You lucky dog!”.
Anyways, I just think the rumors are false. I wouldn’t have bothered to write about it if computer class (I’m in it now) isn't so dreadfully BORING!
