Prince William to Become a God Father

PRINCE WILLIAM TO BECOME A GODFATHER

Prince William is to become a godfather for the first time.

The 16-year-old Prince was asked to take on the role for five-month-old Konstantine Alexios, grandson of former Greek King Constantine, said a Buckingham Palace spokesman.

William is expected to join the six other European Royals acting as godparents at the christening service in London's Greek Cathedral of Saint Sophia on April 15.

After the service, led by Archbishop Gregorios of Thyateira and Great Britain, guests are invited to a celebration dinner at Claridge's.

The baby, a brother for Crown Prince and Crown Princess Pavlos' two-year-old first child Princess Maria-Olympia, was born in a New York Hospital.

His grandfather King Constantine, an old friend of Prince Charles and his companion Camilla Parker Bowles, is also one of Prince William's godfathers.
