Prince William: Brightest Member of The Royal Family

LONDON, England-Prince William, The Elder of the two sons of the late Princess Diana and Prince Charles, is the most intelligent member of the Royal family, mass circulation daily The Mirror Reported, publishing the teenager's exam results.

The paper revealed that the 16 year-old prince, who is being educated at Eton, one of England's most prestigious schools, has passed with flying colors in nine subjects at GCSE level exams normally taken at this age. He has already gained 3 exam passes a year earlier.

The prince, who is second in, line to the throne after his father managed to obtain "A" grade passes in English, History and Foreign languages.

"He swept the board. He passed everything in real style. The whole family are really pleased," A senior royal source told the paper.

"At the end of such a difficult, sad year, this has bought something to cheer about. Everyone at Eton has been amazed at the way he has put his mother's death on one side and got on with his studies," the source added.

The paper credited his housemaster at Eton, Andrew Gately, with helping the prince through the difficult loss of his adored mother exactly a year ago in a car crash in Paris, as he had already supported him over the divorce of his parents a year before.

The paper said William is expected to go on a study at Cambridge University after passing his A-levels, the exams that will mark his secondary school in Britain, and would then follow in the footsteps of his uncle Andrew, the Duke of York, in becoming helicopter pilot.

Popular, Blond, tall and shy like his mother, the young prince has spared the media limelight since his mother's sudden death, newspapers restricting their reports on official news disseminated by Buckingham palace.
