I was watching a show on tv the other night and what I saw made me sick to my stomach!!.This owner had a dog that just gave birth to nine puppies.Well he felt that he didnt want the puppies so he dug a hole and buried those nine little puppies alive!!After he left the Momma went and dug for hours to get those puppies out finally a neighbor came by and helped. They finally got the puppies out they had sand in their eyes, their ears. and they hadnt been nursed in 24 hours. The momma dog was so tired of digging. They rushed the puppies to the hospital and they was in critical condition all nine of them made it except 3!!.
They found the owner arrested him and he was in jail for 4 months on 3 counts of animal abuse. He is also on 5 years probation and during those 5 years he is not allowed animals of no kind.
The puppies and the momma all found good homes when the time came to separte them !!!
Here are some of my favotire dog quotes I have found!!

A DOG'S PRAYER
Bless this House I live in Lord
The one that I call home
The people there who really care,
A family all my own.
Bless the little children,
Who snuggle me to sleep,
Their eyes so sweet and wise
That laugh and sometimes weep.
Bless the mistress of the home,
A wife and loving mother,
She always brings me doggie bags,
To me there is no other.
Bless The master good and kind,
He calls me man's best friend
But Oh, the names they give us, Lord,
"Killer", "Boom-Boom", "Ben".
No one will ever know
How I stopped to catch my breath
The day they saw me at the Pound
As I faced a certain death.
I love my little family,
They're all the world, you see
You'd have to be a dog to know
How lucky I am Me

On the night of Friday March 7, 1997, something horrible happened in Fairfield, Iowa. A massacre took place at the Noah's Ark Animal Foundation. Helpless, innocent, homeless cats were beaten and murdered for no reason what-so-ever. The Foundation is a non-profit, no-kill shelter which was housing around 60 cats and kittens. After all the volunteers left, someone snuck in and started the massacre. Nothing else was touched or stolen, something much more was taken that night...the lives of around 30 cats and kittens, and the trust in humans the other 30 had. When the workers came back in the next morning, they found the bodies of over 30 cats and kittens bludgeoned to death and many of the remainder injured and in need of serious medical attention. The emotional and physical scars these cats have now will last with them forever. Some of the cats were already abused by human hand and were just starting to gain the trust back when this tragedy happened.
The is from a worker at the shelter who goes by the name of Siamese on the ACME PET bulletin board. She was quoted to say: "The police think they have found the murderers, and he is 18, so he's going to be criminally prosecuted. The charge right now is "destruction of property", but David is trying very hard to get it changed to something larger. We all fear tht it'll be a slap on the wrists...I keep hoping that this feind will be tormented by the memory of what he did, and his compatriots as well, but he was only found because, as spot predicted, he was BRAGGING!""I'm going out to see the poor, frightened sweeties who are still there, and I'm going to try to get time off work to see the one's hospitalized with knife wounds and broken bones. They must all be so scared..." "Some of the innocents were victims of abuse in the past, nurtured back to where they could love and trust people...."
The next day there was a little more of the story:
"Right after I signed off yesterday, I ran out to be with the survivors. I was surprised to find more people in the house than cats, and my heart was lifted by the outpour of sweet, gentle support for David and all of us who volunteer."
"Several of the cats have been frightened out of their trust, including the sweet greeter, blacky. He ran through twice like a bullet and screamed pitifully when he thought he was trapped by people. One of the volunteers sat outside in the quiet with him, and found that he'd been hit in the head by one of the attackers. No wonder."
"Now we just need donations and love, awareness and justice. If anyone wants to donate, please send checks written to Noah's Ark Foundation to PO Box 748 Fairfield, Iowa 52556."
