This movie, which came out at the end of January in 1996, is about a brother of an aspiring politician.
Mike Donnelly (played by Chris Farley) wants to help
his brother Al who is running for governor of the state
of Washington. Mike seems to mess everything up, and
Steve Dobbs (played by wonderful David Spade) must step in to try to keep him out of trouble and out of the way until after the election.
In an interview with David Spade after the release of this movie, he comments on going from stand-up comedy to movies. He said, "Comedy was like going from being funny in front of your friends to being funny in front of an audience. Then, once you match that, you do it on TV for the whole country. Then, you do a movie and its almost global." Black Sheep is 88 minutes of great comedy. It is well worth seeing. David Spade is absolutely hilarious and adorable.
