God Bless America

As we all know, September 11, 2001 will be a day that will forever go down in history. We will all remember where we were at the time when we first heard of the attacks on the World Trade Center in New York and the Pentagon in Washington. As Christians, we have a lot to hold on to and to help provide us with peace in our lives. As we are mourning, we must lift up the name of God and realize that HE is in control!!! It is our duty to pray for this nation and especially our leaders. Join me in praying for the families, our leaders, and the volunteers spending so much time and effort in hopes of finding someone alive.

Lord, we thank you so much for you surpassing love. In this terrible time of need, we come to you asking that you will watch over us and give us the much needed peace. We ask that you would provide comfort to the friends and famlies who have lost loved ones in this tragic attack on our country. As the search and rescue continues, we ask that you would watch over the volunteers who have given up so much of their lives to help. Provide them with strength and energy at these times when quitting would be so easy. Also, as our nation's leaders strive to make the right decisions, we ask that you would give them the answers and guidance that they need. Lord, we know that this tragic experience is not too difficult for you. Help us to keep our focus on you today and always! Amen
