From the Front Lines: Captain's Report
GALLOPOLIS, OUR FIRST EVENT OF THE SEASON!!!
The four of the 15th that attended this event had perfect weather for the first one of the season. We fell in with the 76th OVI who had the least amount of men of the three companies there. The other two being the host unit the 61st, and the 30th OVI.This was a good way to start the season - a lated back event. We had some drill and a mock battle in which out company galvanized to give the other two companies someone to fight. Two good meals, a nice dance and a game of rounders were included in our schedule. Firewood was a little scarce but we managed since we didn't have to do much cooking.
