WWF Full Metal: The Album

Track 1: We're All Together Now

I like the beat on this track, fitting for Raw Is War, where this song finds its current use. I didn't see much use for the Superstars saying mindless things in the middle of the song, but oh well...

Track 2: Thorn in Your Eye

The other song from Raw. This one's pretty good, but you can't understand a lot of what the singers are saying.
"RAW IS WAR IS PORN TO BOB RY(DER)!"

Track 3: Diesel Blues

A good song for its time, but it sounds a bit too much like the theme from Roseanne.

Track 4: The Lyin' King

Ugh. This review's as short as the song. Boom-boom-chhh. Boom-boom-chhh. Ba-ba-boom-boom-chhh ad nauseum.

Track 5: 1-2-3

This creatively titled piece of music was the theme of Sean Waltman when he was the 1-2-3 Kid. It was a pretty good theme, though nothing special.

Track 6: Goldust

Another creatively titled track, this is the theme of who else? Goldust. This is probably my favorite track in the album. Johnstone really outdid himself here. It is remeniscint of the theme from Halloween.

Track 7: Smokin'

The theme of the Smokin' Gunns. Will the creativity never stop? A nice western-style piano solo in the middle, but that's about all the redeeming value the song has.

Track 8: Psycho Dance

Sid's theme was miles ahead of his wrestling talent. The song did a good job portraying the craziness of Sid's character. Only problem was it was too short, and repeated way too many times.

Track 9: Bad Boy

Razor Ramon's theme had a very latino overtone to it, which gave the music a cool, gliding feeling. Great theme.

Track 10: Hart Attack

Croooooow used to comment that this song's endless repetition worked because it took Bret that long to get to the ring, so we were used to hearing the theme play over and over. As I listened to it more, I noticed that every guitar solo at the end was different. Very energetic theme, and my third favorite on the album.

Track 11: Angel

A good piece of music that had a section in the middle that reminded me of the Addams Family for some reason. Only problem was this really couldn't apply to Hakushi's character since they never fleshed out his character enough during his short stay.

Track 12: Graveyard Symphony

Before chanting in tongues and American Bad Ass, there was this spooky theme, which was a more complex version of UT's old theme. Good to listen to all the way through once, but too slow for my taste.

Track 13: Sexy Boy

I believe this is the only theme that Jimmy Hart helped write that has survived to this very day. Very fitting theme for Shawn Michaels's character. He was always my favorite wrestler, so this is my second favorite song on the ablum.

Track 14: With My Baby Tonight

I don't understand why they had Jeff Jarrett as the owner of the theme when the album was released months after Jesse James came back and explained that it was he who sang the song. Still, a good song, and probably the only country song I ever liked. Easy to get stuck in your head.
