By the way, if anyone is wondering why I reformatted the site to go with the main page but left the PPV Reviews all different colors, it's intentional. I choose the text colors by trying to think of the color most associated with the month the PPV took place.

Yes 2 Jericho vs. H Cube- Last Man Standing Match

These two put on a hell of a match. It wasn't as technical as their previous encounters, but it was a fun brawl, much like the Foley-HHH one from Royal Rumble. HHH worked over the ribs, and pretty much pounded the hell out of Jericho for most of the match. As Jericho made a comeback, Stephanie McMannequin interfered when Jericho went for the Walls of Jericho on Triple H. He responded by putting her in the Walls until HHH made the save. Outside, they teased another double knock-out like in the Foley-Rock LSM when they both clocked each other with monitors. They got up and continued the battle. HHH brought the sledgehammer into play, but Jericho stole it and hit HHH with it. Jericho set HHH up on the announcer's table, but HHH low-blowed him, using a backdrop suplex, and Oh my God! They killed the English announcing table! You bastards! The ref started the ten count. HHH reached his feet at nine and won the match but then fell unconscious again.

The Rock vs. The Canadian Mongoose- WWF World Title Match

This wasn't quite as good as the previous match, but it was still pretty damn good. Benoit, was well, Benoit, while The Rock was trying his ass off. They both went for moves they usually don't use, such as Benoit applying a Sharpshooter, and Rock going for a figure four leglock. The Rock hit the spinebuster and The People's Elbow, but Benoit kicked out. Benoit brought in a chair, which prompted the ref to get in his face. Shane brought in another chair, and laid the ref out with it. The Rock took care of Shane and slapped a Crippler Crossface of his own on Benoit. The ref called for the bell when he woke up and said Benoit won via DQ and was the new Champ. Apparently, the ref figured the Rock was the one that hit him with the chair. As Benoit was leaving with the belt, Mick Foley came down and ordered the match to continue. Benoit rushed back to the ring and hit his consecutive German suplexes on The Rock. He put on the Crossface, but The Rock made it to the ropes after a couple minutes. After a series of blows, The Rock hit the Rock Bottom to pin Benoit.

Flip & Flop & Lita vs. Test Ease & The Artist Formerly Known as Prince Albert & Trish Stratus

The match started out kind of bad with Matt botching a few spots, but when he tagged out, Jeff took over and all went smoothly. When Jeff was in trouble, Trish was tagged in, but when Lita got tagged, Trish ran away. Inevitably, a brawl erupted where Test gave Matt the Pumphandle Powerslam. Jeff broke up the cover with the Swanton Bomb, but Albert ran in and broke up Matt's cover. Lita then took down Test with a swinging DDT. She took down Albert on the outside with a plancha, and then hit a top rope hurricanrana on Test back on the inside. Albert then took her out with a kick, and tagged Trish. Trish executed a bulldog, but Lita fought back with a superplex and a moonsault to win the match. Afterwards, T & A, along with Trish, beat up the Hardy Boyz. This was a hot opener, and the crowd was really into it, especially when Lita was executing her spots.

The Acolytes vs. Bill & Ted- WWF Tag Team Title Match

After Christian ripped on Texas, Bradshaw took the mic and defended his homestate, and ripped on Edge & Christian. Faarooq, Faarooq, Faarooq is on Fire took the backburner on this one and let Bradshaw take the spotlight, just as Bradshaw did for him when they were at Faarooq's old college a few months back. Bradshaw executed a big powerbomb on Edge, but was eventually double teamed. He fought back with clotheslines and a shoulder block from the top rope. He tagged Faaarooq, who hit a spinebuster on Christian and a Dominator on Edge. Bradshaw re-entered with a Clothesline from Hell to Christian. Edge brought in the tag belts for a deliberate DQ, and ran away. This was a little short, but still a good match. These two teams match up well together.

Cheech & Chong-a vs. Sailor Saturn- WWF European Title Match

Here's the point where the PPV dropped in quality. Saturn and Guererro just couldn't click well enough to have a great match. Eddie is still not over those injuries, and Saturn hasn't exactly been the best worker since he came to the WWF. Too much inteference, as Saturn spent a lot of time duking it out with Chyna on the outside. At one point, he clotheslined her onto the Spanish announcing table, and Oh Dios mio! Mataron al vector espaoñol de la anunciación! Tú bastardos! Well, actually, it just kind of collapsed when Chyna laid on top of it. What did they do, just take the one from the last PPV and paste it back together? Eddie hit a nice plancha on Saturn on the outside. Saturn eventually defeated Eddie with the elbow smash to win the European title.

Rikishi vs. Val Venis- Steel Cage Match for the Intercontinental Title

Not really too good, with all the interference and such. Trish slammed the door on Rikishi's head, and was then immediately attacked by Lita with a strap, getting revenge from earlier. The cameras followed the ladies backstage until someone realized, "Oh yeah, there's a MATCH going on." Rikishi executed the "HOLY SH--" Spot of the Night by diving off the top of the cage and splashing Venis. When Rikishi tried to escape the cage, TTaazz attacked him with a TV camera. Val made the cover and retained the title.

The Undertaker vs. Kurt Angled Banner

Well... Angle tried. He worked over UT's leg with a variety of submission maneuvers, none of which The Undertaker could be bothered to sell. Instead, he decided the best way to escape was to feel Angle up. UT eventually escaped, nailed the chokeslam, nailed the Last Ride, nailed the coffin shut... well, you get the point.

TTaazz vs. Al Snow

Though this match was meant to elevate Tazz and get his new attitude over, Snow's offense actually looked better in this match. Anyway, too short to be of any notice, the crowd was dead, and Tazz eventually hooked the Kata Hajime for the win.

Overall PPV Rating: **1/2

Not bad, not bad. Certainly a lot better than KOTR, and the last two matches made it worth watching. I'm hoping for maybe a couple rematches at SummerSlam, like maybe Jericho vs. HHH, or Rock vs. Benoit. Having both would seem a little repetitive, though.
