Tommy Dreamer & Jake Roberts vs. Justin Credible & Jack Victory
Victory came out bloodied up as a result of an attack by New Jack earlier. As Dreamer and Jake were about to hit simultaneous DDTs, enter One Man Gang and Rod Price. That brought down Kronus and New Jack. Kronus executed a 450 splash on Credible, and the confused ref started to make a three count. Dreamer brought in the ladder, and Justin was DDTed onto it by Jake for the win. Afterwards, Terry Funk rambled on the mic for a long time, and proceeded to beat the living crap out of Dreamer.

Shane Douglas, Chris Candido, and Bam Bam Bigelow vs. Rob Van Dam, Sabu, and Taz
The Dudleys came down and attacked RVD and Sabu before the match, which brought Taz down to clean house. This match was all mayhem, but it did settle into a tag match eventually. RVD executed a nice somersault plancha onto Bigelow, who was in the first row. When Taz got Douglas one on one, he clamped on the Tazmission, and Douglas tried to pull a Bret Hart by kicking off the top rope. Instead, Taz wrapped his legs around him, and sinched the hold in completely. Sabu executed the Arabian Facebuster off the top rope, catching both Taz and Douglas. Sabu covered Douglas for the victory, but had arguments with Taz after the match.

Masato Tanaka & Balls Mahoney vs. The Dudley Boys
Joel "I'm young, I'm hung, and skilled with my tongue" Gertner made the usual announcements. Down came Tanaka and Balls, and Axl grabs the mic and says the same things he's been saying for the past week. The match had some good spots, lots of planchas by all participants, and Gertner almost got hit with a chair. 3D was executed on Tanaka, but he kicked out. The simultaneous Tornado DDT and Nutcracker Suite on the chairs failed to put the Dudleys away also. Neither did simultaneous Roaring Elbows. Down came Sabu and Rob Van Dam who put the Dudleys through tables with top rope splashes. Cover, we got new champs.

Blue Meanie & Super Nova vs. Roadkill & Danny Doring
Actually a decent match, I don't remember much, but The Amish Roadkill Warrior, whatever he is, thought he could do his impression of The Undertaker and was called "The Amish-taker" by Joey Styles. Terry Funk came down and slapped Meanie for no apparent reason, and was sent sailing to the floor almost through a table. Funk corrected their mistake by putting HIMSELF through the table! Blue Light Special on Doring for the win.

Tommy Rogers vs. Tracey Smothers
Throwaway match alert! This was pretty boring, but Rogers did actually manage to win with the Tomikaze. Introduced was the newest Full Blooded Italian, the German Ulf Herman, from Berlin, Italy. The Big Don got pinned by Chris Chetti who was with Rogers for no apparent reason, after the match. Down came ANOTHER FBI member, Mabel! I suppose he's from Harlem, Italy? We never got to find out, because here comes Spike Dudley. After getting beat on, he hits the Acid Drop on Herman, using Mabel as the turnbuckle, then gives Mabel one through a table. He covers both for the win. The fiasco at the end of the match actually made it worth showing.

Not as good as HeatWave 98, but still pretty decent. ECW has a reputation for their PPVs either being really good, or mediocre to bad. Could have used more matches, they probably shouldn't have put all their big stars in the main event.
