*Flair became the NWA World Champion by beating Barry Windham, but in September his recognition as champion was dropped by the NWA when WCW withdrew from the organization. The belt was known simply as the World Heavyweight Title for a short time, but was retooled under the umbrella of the fictional WCW International subsidiary.
**Rude was stripped of the title since he used the belt to win his match against Sting, but Sting refused to have the title returned to him in that manner. The title was put up for grabs in his match against Vader.
***This was a Unification Match with the WCW World Title.
