Aluminized Firemen’s Hood Protective Cover

I purchased this item a while back at a local auction. The unit is in good condition and appears to be complete and functional. The reflective thin gold film protective lens covering does need replaced as it is scratched, but is an easy switch. I don’t have a source for the gold shield, so if anyone knows where I can get some, please e-mail me. As with all items I sell, this unit is being sold "as-is".

Tag says “Aluminized Fireman’s Hood Cover Proximity Type I” and is manufactured by Lite Ind. Inc. for the US Gov’t.
Base fabric 100% Aramid.
Includes Fiberglass piece that snaps into cover which I assume connects to a Firemen’s helmet.

No manuals or instructions are included.
This unit is in good physical condition but may have some tape/sticker residue and may have dust from storage. Some plastic parts may have scratches/discoloration from age and use. Some of the specs and features may have been taken from other eBay ads. The unit pictured may not be the exact item offered as I have several of these. The one the buyer purchases will be in comparable condition. I don't know much about these, but if you have a question, e-mail me.
