Description--- "Following two other
researchers in my car, we were traveling
along route --- and I was scanning the
terrain looking left and right. I was just
passing the grassy access road when I looked
left and out of the corner of my eye I saw
something large and dark standing on the
[access] road. I passed the road and drove
appx. 25 feet before stopping, honking my
horn and backing up. When I reached the road
again whatever it was had gone. I grabbed my
camcorder and exited the car. I ran up the
hill to find an area of matted grass where it
was standing. We found no boken branches,
noticed no noises or unusual smells."
I was informed that Eric and the other man (researcher) had also discovered several smashed areas in the grass about 40" away from each other where this individual had walked. I plan to go out to the area on Saturday August 21'st and scout the area.
The white "X" in this picture represents the appx. location the western Pennsylvania man spotted what he did. Eric told me that the thing he spotted was a good two feet taller than the light colored individual on the left side of the trail in this photo. That is Hawk Spearman standing there for comparison purposes. He is 5'-11".
