Hello. More often than not either I or one of the people who work with me will receive reports of sightings in Ohio that took place 'before' the beginning of the 1990's. Recently there have been a growing number of sightings submitted from the pre-1990 era. What I'm attempting to do on this page is list a brief summary of certain sightings and from that summary you may click on the clickable link to read the report as it was submitted.

If you know of what seems to be a reliable sighting that took place anytime in the past, not necessarily pre-1990, please submit the report with the report form on the main Ohio Sightings page or drop me a note at the address below. I'd greatly appreciate it.

ADDED 5/23/2001... In the 1970's in northern Ohio, a man repors that he has seen evidence that a Bigfoot might have walked through the wall of a barn! This report from Bath, Ohio in the 1970's is worth a look!

In the early 1970's in Licking county, two girls are frightened by a bedded down Bigfoot creature and one has to get medical attention.

Either in 1975 or 1976 in Marion county, a man went outside to cool off on a hot night and to watch animals walking through his back yard. He spotted more than he bargained for!

ADDED 10/8/2000... During a ride to work in February of 1977 in Noble CO two sisters spot something in a creek, which soon gives their car a chase!!

During the Fall of 1979 in Knox county, a couple on their way home from square dancing spot another bi-ped, except this one wasn't doing the jig!

ADDED 1/28/2001... One night in 1980 a northeast Ohio teen was cutting through back yards to go home. The incident took place Around 1980 near Stow and changed the teens mind about cutting through the yards again!

ADDED 1/29/2001... It was in June of 1980 near Chillicothe when a man claims to have observed a Bigfoot scooping water with "his" hands and drinking it.

In Licking county, near Newark, Ohio, on January 15'th, 1984 two cheerleaders spot something in the road on their way to a basketball game.

ADDED 2/3/2001... A young woman getting ready for work one morning looks out her window to see what her dogs were barking at. On August 15'th, 1985 in Lorain county she realized that her dogs weren't the only animals in the woods near her house.

ADDED 1/28/2001... One young mans interest in what appeared to be a kite in a tree yielded him more than just a kite. Read how in 1988 or '89 in Streetsboro the young man got the surprise, and view, of his life.
