Our cruise on the Carnival Glory brought us to St. Thomas of the United States Virgin Islands. We took a day excursion to the island of St. John to spend a day snorkeling at the Virgin Islands National Park.

Trunk Bay
The world famous underwater snorkeling trail is located here. Rated as the second best beach in the world, Trunk Bay also contains a coral reef near the small islands at center-left in the photo. We spent most of our time on St. John here!
Trunk Bay Entrance Station
Steve reads the park information signs at Trunk Bay Ranger Station.
Caneel Bay
John D. Rockefeller, Jr. built this resort at Caneel Bay before donating most of the lands that comprise the Virgin Islands National Park. Our shuttle stopped at this overlook for photo opportunities.
