Selected MK3 Codes
Note that I did not mention every characters' special moves, fatalities, and "vs." codes. If you want to know why I did not mention them, click here. Anyway, I hope you can still find the remaining codes I selected from the MK3 Strategy guide useful.
Code 1 (Mercy)-
To do "Mercy" as a finishing move for ANY character, hold run, then press down 3 times, then release run. "Mercy" can only be done in the third round.
Code 2(SNES Codes)-
Do all of the following codes on the Start Game Screen.
- Kool Stuff- Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, A, B, A.
- Kooler Stuff- Select, A, B, Right, Left, Down, Down, Up, Up.
- Scotts Stuff- X, B, A, Y, Up, Left, Down, Right, Down.
- Sound Test- A, Y, B, Y.
Stealth Select-
On the Character Select screen, rotate the directional pad a full circle counter-clockwise, then press select.
Secret Character Special Moves-
- Shao Kahn-
- Green Fireball: Left, Left, Right, Low Punch(LP).
- Sledgehammer: Left, Right, High Punch(HP).
- Laugh/Taunt: Down, Down, Down, High Kick(HK) OR Low Kick(LK).
- Motaro-
- Fireball: Half-circle from right to down to left, HP.
- Smoke-
- Spear: Left, Left, LP.
- Teleport Uppercut: Right, Right, LK.
- Air Throw: Block(BLK) in air.
- Blow Up Earth Fatality: (From a full screen's length) Hold BLK, press down, down, right, up.
