There are many people out there
without whom this page would not be possible.
Although I have built The Wall with
a WebTV unit, there were some people out
there who had to give me a little help, or
allow me to use a graphic, or tutor me with
HTML. Some of the great tools and services
out there are used almost daily by me! :)
For that reason, I'm giving credit to all of
you who helped me realize the Dark Side!
First of all, I need to thank two
special people who don't know me personally,
but without them page building would be a
real pain in the neck and impossible for
WebTV: Doctor Draac and Anthony Chu. When I
put up my first site, some of my chat friends
sent me a little site called Draac's School
Of HTML. I had never HEARD of HTML, but with
Draac's easy lessons I could do amazing
things on my pages and emails :) Soon after
I heard about Draac's GIFS
123, a collection of free linkable gifs
for WebTV which earned him the title "The
Robin Hood of the Web". This page has
developed into an archive of thousands of
images, backgrounds and sounds, and he now
offers free email, more advanced lessons and
an HTML help message board. THANK YOU
DRAAC!
Some of you may have never
heard of Anthony Chu, but if you have ever
used the Star Boulevard Transloader, you know
why he is so important to WebTV. Before he
published his transloader, WebTV could only
link to other people's images. Ninety-nine
out of 100 people get very upset when you do
this because it uses bandwidth, thus we had a
limited resource since we cannot "click and
save" any graphics. With the transloader, I and many others have been able to upload graphics from the web onto our own server, and no link is needed. This opened up a wide selection of graphics, and we never have to worry about losing them because someone changed the file name. With his transloader, Anthony Chu changed WebTV pages for the better. THANK YOU ANTHONY!
