There are a few reasons why I decided to add
a page dedicated completely to science
fiction on TV. First and foremost, my
grandma, whom I was very close to, loved all
three of these shows. I grew up watching
Star Trek with her, and as a little girl I
have fond memories of Oreo cookies and
sitting on a beige loveseat watching TV with
Grandma. I was much older when the X-Files
came out, and as I got into the show, we
would discuss last night's episode over
coffee. I'm sure she would have loved to
have seen this page.
Secondly, I have received a few requests for
more X-Files links, so I hope this page will
help whet your appetite. Remember, I am
ALWAYS open to suggestions if you have a
great and/or unusual site.
And the final reason is simply the unusual
culture of sci-fi altogether. You can't
watch these shows on a regular basis simply
to have something on the TV. To watch these
shows is to become a Trekkie, or an X-Phile.
You either completely love it or you don't.
That said, I believe the least I can do is
offer a page all your own.
