Name: Alyssa, my close friends have nicknames for me, but generally I go by just Alyssa.
Age: Old enough to smoke, drive, and vote, but not old enough to drink or get a rental car.
Occupation: Politcial Science student at Ohio University in the
Honors Tutorial College. Yes, I acutally admit to being in the Honors College though sometimes I wonder why. We're not as square as you think we are.
I also work in the computer lab where I get paid to sit on my ass and do nothing but update this page and possibly do my homework and I also work as an intern (NO! not that kind, you sicko) at a non-profit capitalist organization where I get paid well to talk to rude people on the phone, but I'm not complaining because of the afformentioned compensation.
Hobbies: I also love to read, write, listen to music, and watch old movies. See other info.

Current Mission: I'm currently seeking the meaning of life and deciding what the hell I should do with mine. (NO, this is not an open invitation to being converted.) I'm considering Photojournalism and someday I may get around to posting some of my photos from my photojournalism class.
What the hell is up with the background: I thought it looked like Ivy covered walls which is why the Ivy League is call the Ivy League. No, I don't go to an Ivy League college but I thought it appropriate especially considering what OU looks like.
Other info: I update this page basically whenever I feel so inclined. For a while I was updating nearly every day but that died. My updates will probably get more infrequent when I no longer have an ethernet connection, but who knows. Sometimes I just have a need to write and think that someday I may have an audience.
What does the future hold: I'll be heading to Germany in March so don't expect many updates March through June, but before then I hope to have all my links up because I won't have a computer there so I won't be able to get at my bookmarks, thus the reason for the links on the web. (whew! that was a long sentence). I also get to move into my very first apartment when I return from Germany which I am very excited about. NO MORE DORM FOOD!!!
Anyway, feel free to send me any comments, but that doesn't mean that I'll actually read them and definitely sign my guestbook. It makes me feel loved. :)
