Due to me living out of state, I didn’t get all the details but I understand Dan was in apparent good health and with no warning suddenly passed away. It obviously was a shock and great loss to all. He had been newly married (6 months), no children. He died of a heart attack while driving to the emergency room. He was a Doctor with the United States Navy and had flown 14 missions with his men (some of them over hostile territory) while he was stationed on an aircraft carrier. Below is an area where your thoughts/memories can be posted if you like. Just e-mail them to me.

Sorry this has taken so long for me to post here. I have had a hard time with it since Dan and my grandmother both died the same weekend and I did not get to go to his memorial service.
Some things I remember most about Dan are baseball, going to Linden pool. I used to go and watch him play both at Southwest and when he played for the school. Sitting in the Southwest stands with his mom and cheering him on was how I spent some of my time in the summer, also at the pool with him, Lori, and Beth and Amy.
