Hi friends of 1984!
I have been living in Columbus, Ohio now for ten years. Previously, I lived in Columbus for a year in 1989-90. We live across the street from Upper Arlington, with the hope of moving soon.
I have been married to Jim since September 6, 1997. He is a twin and we are happily married. Jim works at Troyers Exterior Trim and Federal Express Ground. We have one daughter, Abigail Elaine (Abbey), she is 2 1/2 years old and the joy of our lives. Jim has given me the opportunity to be a stay-at-home Mom with in-home self-employment. We are hoping for a second child.
My first successful self-employment was Shannon's In Home Childcare, I did this from 1998-2003. I recently began Hope and Healing Ministry. I counsel couples and women in issues ranging from marriage, post-abortion, crisis pregnancy, infertility, alcohol and substance abuse and financial issues. My life experience in a nutshell. I also speak on these topics from a Biblical standpoint. I am currently pursuing my Masters Degree in Life-Cycles Counseling from the Masters of Divinity School out of Evansville, Indiana. I received my Certificate in Counseling Hurting Women in April 2003. I received my Bachelors of Science from Ashland University in December of 1993. My majors are Criminal Justice, Human Development/Family Services, and a minor in Sociology. I am involved in my church, Christian Community where I serve in The Bookstore and a couple of other areas.
Lastly, I volunteer with Lynette Santoro-Au (Santoro) at the City of Upper Arlington's Cultural Arts Division helping with art receptions in the Concourse Gallery. It has brought out my hidden art talent, which was a hobby before. My hobbies include: art, baking, cooking, reading, writing, and research. Most of all I like spending time with my husband Jim and my sweet Abbey.
