I disagree with Jen about this. I want that Tour Jacket. I WILL have that jacket. Okay, sorry that was the itsy bitsy part of me that can relate to teenyboppers coming out. I'm 19 in case you're wondering, which I'm most definitely sure you were. They are so cute. They remind me of the MMC jackets, which of course reminds me of my rapidly disappearing childhood.
Is it me or do talk show hosts have NO originality whatsoever? I can predict what questions they will ask, what the answers will be, and which member will answer it.
For instance.."How did the group get together?" I think, no I know, everybody and their grandmothers know the answer to that question.
"How did you come up with your name?"
"Do you have girlfriends?"
And my personal favorite, "What's the craziest thing a fan has done?" Once again, I was subjected to the story about the girl on the conveyer belt in the airport. Come on guys. The least you can do is come up with original answers to unoriginal questions.
Did you notice that Lance was conspicuously quiet during the "Do you have girlfiend?" question. I guess it's not lying if you omit it, right Lance?
I did like the question about what they were doing when they first heard themselves on the radio. That's a question I would have asked.
I also liked that she asked JC about the Hard Rock Cafe menus. I've been wondering about that myself. I think Justin was right when he said JC was a klepto. After all, that was my immediate response to the question. It's okay though, JC. You can't be perfect all the time. I think the stealing is your way of letting go and rebelling against that uptight, anal image of yours.
The guys were sporting a few new do's. JC finally got that LONG OVERDUE haircut, even though the ten pounds of gel were still evident. Justin went back to having all the hair bleached. I guess he got tired of people telling him his roots were showing. But most importantly, Chris took the white braids out. That is definitely a start in the right direction. Here again I disagree with Jen. I like Chris' hair in Teen People. I thought it was cute and made him look more normal.
I can't complain about their outfits either. Very stylish. No clashing colors.
I can't believe they performed IWYB. When was the last time you saw them sing that on a TV show? Usually it's TUMH over and over again.
Oh yeah, Rosie, I can personally vouch that everybody at their concerts does the hand motions during GMHS. I know I do.
