Is There a Cure For What I've Got....

As you all know, Lance Bass has been very ill recently. He was sick for about a week, performing every night despite his illness. He made an appearance on Rosie, where we all saw how sick he really was. He looked pale, and like he could pass out at any moment. But...as a "true performer"...he pushed through any pain he might have, and continued to be at shows and television appearances. Finally, his body couldn't take it anymore, and he collapsed backstage before a show in Florida.

According to the page "They Just Wanna Be NKOTB", Lance also had a mild seizure. (Which was announced by Chris at the Tampa concert.) Also something that was written by Dax on his message board mentioned the boys. The day of Rosie, they were out performing at Disney/MGM studios in the Florida heat for several hours. Which most likely didn't help Lance feel any better. Dax's mother also had a good point in her message..stating, "I'm actually surprised no one else has collapsed from the nonstop touring, constant interviews, promo events, Meet 'n Greets...and now these 'after parties'." I agree completely with her. It's no wonder these guys are so run down. They get hardly any sleep, perform, and then are expected to go and party after some shows. How much can a person possibly continue to go and go?

I am not trying to make Lance's hospitalization the entire point of this page. I am however, trying to make a point that these guys are so overworked that it isn't surprising that one is very sick. I think that the guys need to take a well deserved break..and maybe Lance being so ill is just what is needed to open Transcon's eyes.

Thrust It!
